Welcome to Velo Ship ("we", "us", "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Velo Ship website, platform, and logistics services (collectively, the "Services") operated by Velo Ship INC, a company registered in the United Kingdom. By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.
2. Definitions
"Shipment" refers to any parcel, package, or item entrusted to Velo Ship for delivery. "Sender" refers to the party dispatching the Shipment. "Recipient" refers to the intended receiver of the Shipment. "Tracking Number" refers to the unique identifier assigned to each Shipment. "User" refers to any individual or entity accessing or using the Services.
3. Services
Velo Ship provides domestic and international parcel delivery, courier, and logistics services. We offer real-time tracking, estimated delivery windows, and status updates for all Shipments. Our service types include Standard, Express, Priority, Next Day, Economy, International, and Freight delivery options. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Services at any time.
4. User Accounts
To access certain features of our platform, you may be required to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating an account and to update your information as necessary. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
5. Shipment Acceptance & Restrictions
Velo Ship reserves the right to refuse any Shipment at our sole discretion. Prohibited items include but are not limited to: hazardous materials, illegal substances, firearms, perishable goods (unless pre-approved), live animals, and items exceeding published size or weight limits. The Sender is responsible for ensuring all Shipments comply with applicable laws and regulations in both the origin and destination countries, including customs requirements.
6. Tracking & Delivery
All Shipments are assigned a unique Tracking Number upon creation. Tracking information is provided as a courtesy and may not reflect real-time status at all times. Estimated delivery dates are approximations and are not guaranteed. Factors such as customs clearance, weather conditions, public holidays, and force majeure events may affect delivery times. Velo Ship shall not be held liable for delays caused by such factors.
7. Pricing & Payment
Shipping rates are determined by factors including weight, dimensions, origin, destination, and service type. All prices are quoted in the applicable currency at the time of booking. Payment must be completed before Shipment processing begins. We reserve the right to adjust pricing at any time. Any additional charges such as customs duties, taxes, or surcharges are the responsibility of the Sender or Recipient as applicable.
8. Liability & Claims
Velo Ship's liability for lost, damaged, or delayed Shipments is limited to the declared value of the Shipment or the maximum liability amount as set out in our insurance policy, whichever is lesser. Claims must be submitted within 30 days of the expected delivery date. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages arising from the use of our Services. Proof of value must be provided for all claims.
9. Privacy & Data Protection
We collect and process personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR). Personal data collected includes names, addresses, email addresses, and Shipment details. Data is used solely for the purpose of providing our Services and is not sold to third parties. 10. API Usage
Access to the Velo Ship API is provided through API keys issued to registered Users. API keys are confidential and must not be shared. We reserve the right to revoke API keys at any time for misuse or violation of these Terms. Rate limits and usage restrictions apply. Automated use of our Services must comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
11. Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, logos, and intellectual property on the Velo Ship platform are owned by Velo Ship INC and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without prior written consent.
12. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to our Services at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases immediately. All provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
